South Hadley High School's Drive To 25

On Tuesday, August 30, 2011, I spoke with the staff about South Hadley High School's increasing academic success. A great student body and a dedicated and talented staff, have increased our MCAS scores above the state average and the recent AP initiative has resulted in significantly more students taking AP classes.

It is time for us to look forward and continue to challenge ourselves. Therefore, the high school goal is to be among the Top 25 public high schools as rated each year by Boston Magazine in five years. It is a great challenge, but we have the foundation to do it. I will soon be challenging the students of South Hadley High School to not settle for anything less than excellence. I also challenge the community to come together around the goal.

As the data comes in I will be posting it here and will keep you up to date with our progress.
